An information data modeling architect with vast expertise in dimensional data modeling, semantic data modeling, and logical data modeling with a history of adding great value to core business products.
Create an information data model that can negotiate the cumbersome, expensive and error prone process of transcribing essential information from disorganized data based on the needs of your company.
Always improving, never stop learning, never stop growing; the key to success is to always Be Better. This focus is what drives me to devise and build stronger enterprise products that are key for company success.
I have over 15 years experience building Property & Casualty Insurance backend products. During this time, I have designed and built enterprise products of great value, and also devised products central to company success.
My career started with building desktop applications, websites, web applications and e-commerce applications in Java, Perl, Pascal, .NET, VB, and C#.
In 2007, I began my journey into information with Moore Stephens Business Solutions Inc (MSBS), a provider of business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions to the insurance industry. At Moore Stephens Business Solutions, I owned the multidimensional cube (a MSBS product), and a dimensional model, and reporting solutions. I worked on ETL solutions, and designed an auto-generation ETL software written in C#.
In 2010, Moore Stephens Business Solutions Inc was acquired by Cover-All Technologies, a web-based insurance platforms company. At Cover-All Technologies, I continued owning the multidimension cube (a Cover-All product), and a dimension model. I also designed an ETL scheduler that supports parallelism written in C#, an alternative to SQL Agent.
In 2013, I joined Yodil Inc, a provider of business intelligence, management and operational reporting, and data analytics to the insurance industry. At Yodil, I devised a dynamic dimensional mart (a Yodil product), where clients can create new dimensions and fact tables without the need of a database developer. It was written using SSIS and stored procedures for the purpose of accessing a larger developer pool.
In 2016, Yodil Inc was acquired by Duck Creek Technologies. At Duck Creek Technologies, I continued my ownership of the dynamic dimensional mart (a Duck Creek product) as well as reporting solutions written in Power BI. I also designed a semantic data model that can be used by technologies that supports it such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Tabular Model, Microsoft Multidimensional Cube, Google Looker, IBM Cognos Analytics, Tableau, and others. I have also created a unit testing app for SQL queries written in python, a regression testing app for SQL queries written in python, a meta data to html documenter for databases and product information written in python.
Along my journey, I have always strived to Be Better than before. For Moore Stephens, I created a SSIS auto-generator to reduce the burden for an ETL developer, to Be Better for Yodil, I created a database auto-generator to reduce the burden for a database developer. I started with standard types of fact tables in my designs and moved on to creating my own types fact tables that goes beyond what dimensional models are expected to do.
I can help.
